Founder of Alara Women • Author of The Eye of the Beholder • Host of In Her Words: Working Conversations By Women

A certified full stack developer and strategic partnerships expert, Thando empowers African women to break free from societal labels and build power across poetry, finance, technology, and leadership. Through storytelling, education, and innovation, she is helping women speak, earn, code, and lead on their own terms.

"I started Alara Women because I was tired of being labeled. Too quiet. Too emotional. Not business enough. So I did the unthinkable: I became a developer, wrote a book, launched a podcast, and hosted financial events not to prove anything, but to show every woman: You don’t have to choose one thing. You can be and do what you put your mind too."
